MACU utilizes term positions for those individuals who are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the work force or to assist in the completion of a specific project. Term positions are of a limited duration.

Administered by Guidestone Financial Resources, MACU offers partially subsidized health insurance through BlueCross BlueShield.
Also administered by Guidestone Financial Resources, MACU offers partially subsidized dental and vision insurance through Delta Dental and VSP (Vision Service Plan).
MACU employees benefit from the Flex 125 tax exempt program and medical reimbursement for employees via HRA.
MACU offers retirement plans to it's employees through two providers. MACU has a matching plan for those that contribute to their retirement.
Mid-America also provides life insurance policies for its employees.
Alongside the life insurance policies are a number of disability policies including: Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), Short Term Disability (STD) and Long Term Disability (LTD) policies.
