Preferred PLUS-LOAN Lenders
MACU provides the following list of preferred lenders, choosing one of these lenders will allow you to receive an answer much quicker, parents may apply for these loans individually. These lenders have met our specification requirements and all funds are disbursed electronically.
Parent(s) Being DENIED
Being "Denied" is not bad at all!!! The Parent Plus-Loan is credit and income based, a parent(s) being denied allows all the financial responsibility to fall directly on the student. For those parent(s) in tight financial situations being denied will only decrease your out of pocket expense for your children's education. Your child in this case will receive all Federal Student Loan assistance available.

Parent(s) Being Approved
Being approved for the parent Plus-Loan is not bad either. This means that you as the parent have the opportunity to help with your children’s education costs. Please remember that being approved does not mean you have to accept these loans. Remember if approved these loans are yours and you will be responsible for making the payments.
