MACU's Criminal Justice Management and Ethics program examines the administration components of criminal justice agencies and develops the leadership, management and supervisory skills required for advancement and career mobility.
Whether you are entering this field or seeking to advance your current career, this degree prepares you to excel.
The criminal justice and ethics program is designed for you to:
- Examine social, political, legal, and philosophical issues of contemporary criminal justice, including moral and ethical issues confronting criminal justice professionals.
- Learn to defend controversial and complicated ethical actions and judgment and to respect those who think differently than you
- Review constitutional law, citizen's rights, and the constitutional limitations relating to investigation, interrogation, search and seizure, and surveillance in the criminal justice process
- Understand the ten foundational principles essential for effective management communication and how to function effectively as a team member
- Develop your own life management strategy with Christian goals and priorities
