Immunization Laws

Oklahoma Statutes, Title 70 §3244, requires that all full and part-time students that are to attend an Oklahoma public or private postsecondary institution provide immunization information for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) and Hepatitis B.

If a student or parent of the student has chosen not to be vaccinated due to a religious belief or the vaccine is medically contraindicated and a statement has been signed by a licensed physician then the student or parent (if student is a minor) must sign the Certification of Compliance.

Certification of Compliance:

ON Campus only

Oklahoma Statutes, Title 70 §3244, also requires all students who are first-time enrollees residing on campus be vaccinated against meningococcal disease.

Learn more about the vaccination/disease:

A student may choose not to have the meningococcal vaccine but must sign a Certification of Compliance stating that he or she has been notified of the risks associated with the meningococcal disease and has declined the vaccination.
