Mail Services for Students
Mail Services provides a wide variety of mailing and
shipping services. If you have any questions concerning mail
services at MACU, we will be happy to assist you.
Mailboxes
Mailboxes are made available to on-campus residents. Mailbox
assignments are distributed at the beginning of each school
year. The students keep their mailbox for the entire year
and are reassigned the following year. Students entering at
the spring semester will receive their mailbox assignment at
the start of the semester.
Mailbox Combinations
All student mailboxes have a combination lock. It is up to
the student to protect the combination to their mailbox.
Possession of a combination is the right to the mail in that
mailbox.
If a student forgets their combination, the combination can
be obtained at the window during regular window hours. For
the student’s protection, a photo identification must be
presented and we will only give the combination for that
student’s mailbox.
Privacy
As a matter of privacy, we cannot tell anyone over the
telephone if we have mail for them. The students must come
and check the mail in the mailbox themselves. The only
information we can release is someone's mailbox number. If a
student does not want this information released, they must
complete a form requesting the withholding of information
with the Registrar’s Office.
