Reorder/Order A Diploma

Reordering or ordering a diploma is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Follow the steps below and your new diploma will be mailed to you right away.

1. Download and print off the diploma application (on the right)

   Include your:

   • Name (including maiden name)
   • Address to mail diploma
   • Home and work phone number
   • Year graduated
   • Legal signature
   • Social Security Number
   • Email address

2. Photocopy your original/old diploma (if applicable) and attach a check for $45 to the Application For Diploma

3. Mail your completed application and required items to:

Initial diplomas will be mailed, or you can pick it up in the Student Services Office (if requested).

Mid-America Christian University transcripts can be ordered via the Internet 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse. Mid-America Christian University does not accept transcript requests via fax or e-mail.

You can place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after the order has been completed. Order updates will be emailed to your email address. You can also track the order online using your email address and order number.

Signed consent may be required to fulfill the transcript order. For your convenience, a consent form will be generated for the order and can be returned via fax, mail or as a scanned email attachment.

Ordering and Payment

All financial obligations to Mid-America Christian University (MACU) must be paid before the official transcripts are released.

Transcripts can be ordered online using any major credit card. Your card will be charged when your school sends your transcript(s). Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also track your order online.

Please be sure to list your "Name While Attending MACU" when entering your personal information to ensure the processing of your transcript request.

Processing and Rush Order

Transcripts are processed in the order received. Normal processing time is between 3-5 business days. Processing time does not reflect delivery time. Expedited transcript service applies only to delivery and not to processing time.

No transcripts are processed or mailed on days the University is closed. Please plan accordingly. For the University Holiday schedule, school closings, or office hours, please reference the he University Public Calendar or watch for closure alerst on the macu.edu homepage.

FERPA Information

The federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974 assigns to students who are 18 years of age or older, not the parent, certain privacy rights regarding their educational records. In general, this means that students need to give their permission for the release of information about their educational record, even to release information to parents.

Under FERPA, the following pieces of information are considered "directory," or public, information. This means that the information can be released to anyone, including parents, without the student's permission. Students do have the right, however, to prevent the release of even directory information. If students have exercised their right not to have directory information released, the University may not release it, even to parents, without the student's permission.

Directory information includes the following:

• Name
• Date of birth
• Place of birth
• Directory address and phone number
• Electronic mail address
• Mailing address
• Campus office address (for graduate students)
• Secondary mailing or permanent address
• Residence assignment and room or apartment number
• Specific quarters or semesters of registration at MACU
• MACU degree(s) awarded and dates
• Major(s), minor(s), and field(s)
• University degree honors
• Institution attended immediately prior to MACU
• ID card photographs (for University classroom use only)

All other information regarding a student is considered private and can be released only with the permission of the student. This includes information about courses in which the student is enrolled, grades received, locations of courses, academic standing information, financial aid information, student account information, etc.
