MACU Moves Classes Online Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Concerns

Mid-America Christian University is transitioning all on-campus classes to an online learning environment for a two-week period following Spring Break, beginning Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 3.

The decision comes as a part of MACU’s efforts to provide a healthy and safe campus environment for students, faculty, staff and guests during the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19. There are no suspected cases of COVID-19 on or near the MACU campus.

If an extended period of online learning is warranted, a decision will be announced prior to April 3.

Students are encouraged to remain home during the two-week period after Spring Break. MACU’s residence halls, student center, library, dining hall and other areas of student support will remain open to serve as regularly scheduled.

In addition, all non-athletic events occurring between Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, April 5 have been canceled.
