The Christian Ministries degree is ideal for anyone who desires to cultivate their ministry skills so that they can be influencers for Christ in any location and situation.

Increase Your Impact with a Degree in Christian Ministries

The program equips students with knowledge and application of scripture and theology integral in successfully leading and serving in the church, workplace and community. Every course is taught from a Wesleyan-Arminian perspective, which emphasizes the integration of vital knowledge and vital piety.

In order to help students articulate the nature of their calls, the program exposes students to a wide variety of Christian material, biblical books, homiletics and practical ministry courses. Though the program is beneficial for anyone wishing to enhance his or her personal ministry, the program provides entry-level skills for church ministry and nonprofit organization leadership while fulfilling job/work related requirements for obtaining a general degree.

The degree also serves as a stepping stone for graduate studies in ministry, Bible and Theology or related degree programs.

Why Earn Your Christian Ministry Degree from MACU?

At Mid-America Christian University, we understand the importance of presenting students with practical knowledge they can immediately apply. All of the Christian Ministries instructors are actively involved in the area in which they are teaching, so students will gain insight into the realities of ministry that cannot be encapsulated in curriculum.

In order to help students truly absorb the material, instructors keep a virtual open-door policy, which means that instructors are readily available to help students and discuss material within twenty-four hours of being contacted.

Students graduate the program not only with a solid foundation in biblical knowledge and application but also with polished skills in communication, leadership and administration. In addition to the Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries, we also offer two ministry certificates: Women in Ministry Leadership and Church Staff Leadership.

Whether they studied on-campus or online, graduates of the program will step into their fields of work as leaders with academic and biblical competence to impact one’s world for Christ.
