A study of principles of K-12 public school administration with an emphasis on organizational structure and the leadership role of the principal. Approaches to problem-solving are also stressed.
Current Issues in Public Education
This course examines the trends, issues, and problems in education related to students, programs, campuses, staff members, curriculum, school buildings, and the process of innovation and change.
Public School Finance
In this class, students will learn about school finance control of expenditures, and general principles of financial administration. Topics will include: Bond Issues, Insurance, Basic Budgeting Procedures, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, and Personnel Issues.
