Dr. Betsy Fowler, Ph.D., LMHC

Associate Professor of Counseling

Dr. Betsy Fowler is an Associate Professor in the Master of Counseling program at Mid-America Christian University and a proud alumna of MACU, class of 2019. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychological Studies and Counseling from Regent University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

A licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida, Dr. Fowler brings a wealth of clinical experience to her academic role. She owns and operates a private counseling practice where she specializes in supporting children through young adults as they navigate the complexities of life’s challenges. Her therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in compassion, developmentally appropriate care, and evidence-based practices.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Fowler enjoys traveling with her husband, rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats, savoring iced lattes, and relaxing with a good book and her beloved dogs.
