Dr. Dawn Meadows

Dean of Academic Instruction

Rev. Dr. Dawn Meadows serves as the Dean of Academic Instruction at Mid-America Christian University (MACU), a role she assumed on June 1, 2025. With more than two decades of distinguished service in Christian higher education, Dr. Meadows brings deep expertise in academic leadership, faculty development, and institutional advancement grounded in faith.

Prior to joining MACU, Dr. Meadows held several pivotal leadership positions at Warner University, her alma mater. From 2012 to 2020, she served as Vice President and Dean of Students, where she was instrumental in launching faculty training programs and student-centered strategies that enhanced both academic performance and spiritual formation. From 2005 to 2012, she was an Associate Professor at Warner, playing a key role in curriculum development and student mentorship.

Dr. Meadows is also an ordained minister in the Church of God (Anderson, IN), with extensive pastoral experience in two congregations and leadership in faith-based nonprofit initiatives. Her dual commitment to education and ministry allows her to approach her work with both academic rigor and spiritual depth.

As Dean of Academic Instruction at MACU, Dr. Meadows oversees the strategic direction of the university’s faculty body. She leads initiatives in faculty recruitment, supervision, evaluation, and development while fostering a collaborative academic environment rooted in Christian mission. Her leadership is marked by a dedication to maintaining high standards of teaching and a passion for supporting diverse student needs across all learning modalities.

Dr. Meadows holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. She also earned Master’s degrees in Theological Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary and in Human Services: Marriage and Family from Liberty University.
