Associate Professor: School of Science
Dr. Egie Enabulele completed his Bachelor of Science (Zoology) and Master of Science (Animal & Environmental Biology, Parasitology majors) in Nigeria. He proceeded to London, in the United Kingdom on full scholarship and obtained his doctorate in Research Biology. After his PhD, he received a Cowles Postdoctoral Fellowship to the USA and conducted research on pathogen genomics at Texas Biomedical Research Institute, San Antonio before joining Mid-America Christian University.
Dr. Enabulele is passionate about sharing knowledge, with a decade of teaching experience and developing educational resources for teaching, public engagements, and advocacy. He has extensive training in grantsmanship with success in local, national and international research grants, including the National Institute of Health (NIH) and serving as research proposal reviewer for the National Science Foundation (NSF). In his spare time, Dr. Enabulele writes and illustrates Christian picture books for children/youth and has authored several books. He is married with children.
