Mid-America Christian University (MACU) has been accepted as an associate member of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in Chicago, marking an exciting milestone in the University’s continued pursuit of excellence in theological education.
As an associate member, MACU will begin the self-study process this fall, working towards accreditation. This achievement reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, Christ-centered education, and equipping students to lead and serve with faith, wisdom, and purpose.
The Association of Theological Schools is a network of more than 280 graduate schools across the United States and Canada dedicated to strengthening theological education. While each institution serves its own unique mission, ATS unites its member schools around a shared
commitment to preparing leaders for ministry, scholarship, and service.
MACU’s vision closely aligns with the values promoted by ATS. Both emphasize faithful stewardship, meaningful collaboration, and the development of leaders who can thoughtfully engage with an ever-changing world while remaining grounded in biblical truth. As the University continues to expand opportunities for students pursuing ministry and theological education, this new partnership supports MACU’s mission of preparing people to do greater things for God and His Kingdom.
