At Mid-America Christian University, spiritual life is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that faith isn’t just something reserved for Sunday mornings—it’s a daily journey that shapes our community, inspires our learning, and drives our mission. Whether you’re attending chapel, serving in the community, or connecting in prayer with others, our goal is to help you grow in your relationship with Christ while preparing to lead and serve in the world around you.

Campus Ministries Services

Chapel Services

We have twice-weekly chapel services for our students, faculty, and staff. God calls us to be a community and it is also our heart to worship Him as a community! We are excited for you to be a part of our praise and worship experience with MACU Worship and to be encouraged by Biblically-centered messages from carefully and prayerfully selected speakers. During the school year, they happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:55am. Feel free to worship with us via our livestream here.

Small Groups

At MACU, meaningful community is top priority for the spiritual life of the student. Be sure to sign up for a small group led by a student to do life with others; they can be life-changing. For questions, feel free to email [email protected].

Discipleship

Not only does the leadership at MACU want to encourage you from behind the pulpit, we also want to engage with students at a table. Our amazing staff and faculty serve as incredible mentors to help students navigate through life and become more like Jesus in small, intimate settings. To be a part of a discipleship group, please feel free to email [email protected].

Devos After Dark

Once a month, Campus Ministries puts on a student-led service at night with snacks, worship, a message from one of our student chaplains, and a great time of community!

Questions & Coffee

“How do we know God is real?” “If God is good, why does He let bad things happen?” “How do I know if I am in a good relationship?” “Is drinking alcohol a sin?”

Everyone has questions about The Bible. Atheists, Christians, and everyone in between wonder a lot of things about God, The Bible, and life in general. Questions & Coffee is an event where a panel of our wonderful ministry professors answer questions anonymously submitted by students. At MACU, we are proud to have some of the most loving and humble, yet Biblically studious individuals serve as our ministry professors! Come and ask questions!

Meet Your Campus Ministries Team

Hello! I’m Kevin, and I am blessed and honored to call myself MACU’s Director of Campus Ministries! A little about me… I am from New Jersey, my wife Linda and I have a son and two German Shepherds, and we love people, animals, and coffee. My role is simply to be a meaningful spiritual support to our students, staff and faculty. If you’d ever like to grab a coffee, let me know – I’m buying!

Brad Kendall serves as University Chaplain at MACU, bringing over a decade of chaplaincy experience in San Antonio, Texas, and more than 40 years of service as an ordained Church of God pastor. A proud alumnus, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Mid-America Bible College and a master’s degree from Anderson University.
