Associate Professor: School of Behavioral Science and Counseling
Rev. Brian Marlett joins the School of Behavioral Science and Counseling as a full-time faculty member, bringing over 25 years of ministry experience—including serving a decade as MACU’s campus pastor—and 15 years as an adjunct professor. A two-time MACU alumnus with both his bachelor’s degree and a master’s in counseling, his background also includes serving as a junior high counselor in the Oklahoma public school system. In Fall 2026, he began his doctoral studies.
Rev. Marlett says helping students integrate their faith and education into productive, compassionate careers is his greatest desire as a professor. He and his wife, Crystal—also a proud MACU alum—are the proud parents of two adult children and two dogs. Outside of the classroom and ministry, Rev. Marlett is an avid fan of Star Wars and superheroes.
