THE EVANGEL 75 CAMPAIGN

For years, one of our top facility needs has been for a new student center. With a growing enrollment, students have limited space to gather, study, and socialize on campus.

Last fall, we quietly began planning for a new student center. We worked with architects, construction managers, and contractors, and we asked friends of MACU to financially support the project. One year later, we now have building plans, a price estimate of $6 million, and $2.5 million raised toward this project!

In August, we applied for a $1.2 million grant from the Mabee Foundation to help complete the funding of this new student center. During a meeting with the Foundation in September, they seemed interested and positive toward us, but they could not anticipate what the board might decide. All we could do was pray.

Word arrived on October 14: The grant was approved!

The Mabee Foundation will give $1.2 million if we can meet our goal of $4.8 million during the next year. With $2.5 million already raised, we are $2.3 million from unlocking this tremendous Mabee Foundation grant.

Will you take a few minutes right now to consider how you can be part of the story that ends with MACU receiving the Mabee Foundation grant? Can you make a gift today and/or consider making a pledge payable by December 31, 2025 or beyond?

Reaching the goal by October 2026 will let us begin construction and see students enjoying this new facility by fall semester of 2027! What a blessing it will be!

The student center is the first major project of the Evangel 75 Campaign. The $40 million Evangel 75 Campaign, concluding in 2028 (the 75th year of our founding) will equip MACU for transformational service for future generations. It will address the major facility and endowment needs that will allow its mission to flourish long into the future.

Expanded Academic Programs

Nursing degree programs in 2025, an engineering program in 2026 or 2027, and a seminary as early as 2026 are among the areas of program growth at MACU.

New Facilities

With the successful funding of the new student center by October 2026, MACU is also setting priorities on other facilities that will impact programs for future growth.

Scholarship and Financial Aid

Endowed scholarships, annually funded scholarships, and Heart of the Evangel scholarships help MACU remain affordable for its students.

Endowment and Planned Giving

Estate and planned gifts will provide future resources to fund scholarships, endowments, and future growth opportunities as MACU continues to meet the needs of the world in the name of Jesus Christ. The Gaulke Circle celebrates those who have included MACU in their estates and provides information and resources for that purpose.
