Engineering

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Mid-America Christian University prepares students to enter a wide range of engineering fields or pursue advanced study, all within a Christ-centered academic environment. Designed as a general engineering degree, the program gives students a strong foundation in engineering, mathematics, and science while allowing flexibility to explore multiple engineering disciplines before choosing a specific direction later in the program. This broad approach equips graduates with adaptable skills that are highly valued across industries such as aerospace, energy, construction, environmental systems, defense, logistics, artificial intelligence, and computing.

Students in the program benefit from hands-on, experiential learning through modern STEM laboratories focused on engineering and robotics, artificial intelligence and computing, electronics and IoT systems, and 3D printing and prototyping. These facilities are designed to support real-world problem solving, innovation, and capstone project development, ensuring students graduate with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The program culminates in a senior capstone experience and prepares students to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, an important step toward professional engineering licensure.
