Dr. LeAnn M. Brown, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR is a seasoned scholar-practitioner in organizational leadership and human resource management with more than two decades of experience in higher education and industry. She comes to MACU after serving as an Associate Professor of Management at Fort Hays State University and as Chief Leadership Officer at Post Rock Leadership Institute, where she provides executive coaching, leadership development, and strategic consulting across sectors including healthcare, government, energy, and business.
Dr. Brown earned her Ph.D. in Global Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Management from the Indiana Institute of Technology. Her scholarly work bridges research and application, with peer-reviewed publications on talent management, global leadership education, and organizational health. She has taught extensively in undergraduate, graduate, and adult education settings—both online and in person—focusing on courses such as Global Leadership, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior.
A certified coach and recognized SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Dr. Brown is committed to forming principled, transformative leaders equipped to serve in complex and evolving global contexts. Her faith-driven approach to leadership education aligns closely with the mission of the Thomas School of Global Leadership to develop ethically grounded leaders who can influence organizations for the greater good.
