During Holy Week, Mid-America Christian University (MACU) hosted Spiritual Transformation Week, a time set apart for the campus community to reflect, worship, and refocus on the person of Jesus Christ.
This year’s theme, “It’s the Person…”, centered on the truth that our lives are not defined by our circumstances or achievements, but by our relationship with Jesus. Throughout the week, students, faculty, and staff were encouraged to see every aspect of life as an opportunity for deeper transformation through Him.
Services were held Tuesday through Thursday and were led by faculty from the School of Ministry. Each gathering created space for intentional reflection and meaningful engagement through a variety of elements, including personal interviews, panel conversations, and scriptural testimonies.
These moments allowed for honest dialogue and powerful reminders of God’s work in and through His people. Each service pointed back to the central message of Holy Week: by focusing on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we make room for God to move in ways only He can. The week’s progression culminated in Thursday’s service, when the community gathered for a meaningful time of communion. This moment served as a powerful and unifying expression of remembrance and gratitude.
Spiritual Transformation Week was a significant time for the MACU community to pause, reflect, and realign their hearts. As the campus looked to Jesus as the ultimate aim, the week served as a reminder that true transformation is found not in what we do, but in who He is.
