On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the MACU community gathered to celebrate a historic milestone, the groundbreaking of our new Student Center.
The Board of Trustees, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the University came together in celebration, marking the moment with commemorative keepsakes and, most importantly, one another. The ceremony was more than symbolic; it was a declaration of growth, vision, and investment in the future of Mid-America Christian University.
With a projected opening in Fall 2027, the new Student Center represents a significant step forward in enhancing the student experience. Designed to foster connection, collaboration, and community, the facility will include modern study areas, welcoming meeting spaces, and environments intentionally created for fellowship.
This building is about creating spaces where friendships are formed, leadership is developed, faith is strengthened, and ideas come to life. It will serve as a hub for student engagement, campus events, and daily interaction, enriching life outside the classroom in meaningful ways.
But this vision does not become reality without partnership.
The groundbreaking marked the beginning of construction, but continued generosity will ensure the Student Center reaches its full potential. Every gift, large or small, directly invests in MACU students and the community that shapes them. Donor support helps provide the spaces where students grow academically, spiritually, and relationally.
As we look toward Fall 2027, we invite MACU friends and families to join us in building more than a facility; we are building the future of MACU.
