Homecoming 2025: A Celebration of Community, Legacy, and God’s Faithfulness

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) recently welcomed approximately 150 alumni back to campus for Homecoming, a weekend filled with connection, celebration, and community.

From October 30 through November 1, students, alumni, faculty, staff, and families came together to celebrate what makes MACU truly special: its strong sense
of faith, purpose, and belonging.

The weekend began Thursday evening with MACU’s annual Trunk-or-Treat, which drew hundreds of community members to campus. Families enjoyed decorated trunks, games, and refreshments.

Friday’s festivities continued with the President’s Roundtable Breakfast, where alumni and University supporters gathered to reflect on MACU’s continued mission and growth. Throughout the day, alumni were invited to campus for special receptions and tours, reconnecting with faculty and witnessing the University’s continued growth and success. The Homecoming Cookout provided a fun and relaxed atmosphere before fans packed the stands to cheer on the Volleyball team.

Saturday offered another full day of activity, beginning with the Homecoming Breakfast and the Homecoming 5K Race, which brought together students, alumni, and community participants on MACU’s Cross Country course. Later that afternoon, the Volleyball team celebrated Senior Day, followed by the highly anticipated Women’s and Men’s Basketball Doubleheader. One of the weekend’s most meaningful moments came during the men’s game, when MACU honored the
2015–2016 Men’s Basketball Team, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2016 NAIA National Championship.

As Homecoming 2025 came to a close, one theme was clear: God’s faithfulness continues to be evident in every part of MACU’s story. From alumni who return to celebrate their journeys, to current students stepping into their callings, the University continues to move forward with gratitude for how God has guided the past and great anticipation for what He will do in the years ahead.
