Mid-America Christian University to Host 2025 iMpact Awards Oct. 7

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) will celebrate alumni, students, and community leaders at the annual iMpact Awards Gala at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, on the University’s campus in south Oklahoma City.

The event will feature music, food, and fellowship honoring individuals and organizations who exemplify MACU’s mission of doing greater for the good of others.

This year’s award recipients include:

Coach Willie Holley – Life Achievement Recipient

Faithfully led MACU’s men’s basketball program for 42 years, earning 813 wins and mentoring generations of student-athletes through Christ-centered leadership.

Bethany Children’s Health Center – Community Impact Award

Serving Oklahoma families for more than a century, the center provides holistic, faith-driven care and has partnered with MACU students in ministry training since 2021.

Faith, Hope, and Charity (Arlinda McCoy, Kimberly Thomas, and Kathy Williamson) – Heart of an Evangel Award

The trio’s powerful music ministry during their time at Gulf Coast Bible College continues to inspire through their authentic witness and joyful service.

Drs. Ron and Shirley Roddy – Educator Award

Lifelong leaders who pioneered adult education at MACU and mentored countless students, leaving a legacy of Christ-centered teaching and leadership.

Stefani Heller – Young Alumni Award

A two-time MACU graduate whose career spans public service, the arts, and entrepreneurship, embodying the University’s mission through civic engagement and
creativity.

Matthew Helton – Evangel Award

A Ministry Leadership senior who has served MACU in chapel, student leadership, and Communications, while also ministering at Shartel Church of God.
