Jennifer Allen, MSN, RN

Assistant Professor: School of Nursing

Jennifer Allen is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing, bringing over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Oklahoma City community. Her diverse clinical background spans home health care and various hospital units, including medical-surgical, orthopedics, and neurology. Her greatest passion lies in perinatal nursing, where she finds deep fulfillment in caring for pregnant women, new mothers, and their newborns.

Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education in 2024. She is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of nurses and is eager to share both her knowledge and love
for the profession with her students. She believes the strength, compassion, and resilience required in nursing are gifts from God and foundational to the care nurses provide.

Outside the classroom, Jennifer is a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother to one grandchild.
