About the iMpact Awards
The iMpact Awards is an annual gala hosted on the beautiful MACU campus in south Oklahoma City. This inspiring evening celebrates alumni, students, and community leaders who have made a significant “impact” on the MACU campus and beyond! The event features music, delicious food, and fellowship, creating a memorable celebration of those who exemplify the spirit and values of Mid-America Christian University.
2025 iMpact Award Recipients
Coach Willie Holley

Lifetime Achievement Recipient
Coach Willie Holley faithfully led MACU’s men’s basketball program for 42 years, earning 813 wins and guiding the team to multiple national titles and a historic NAIA Tournament run. A mentor and disciple-maker, Coach Holley’s legacy extends far beyond the court through his Christ-centered leadership and deep love for students.
Bethany Children’s Health Center

Community Impact Recipient
For over a century, Bethany Children’s Health Center has delivered hope and holistic care to children and families across Oklahoma. Since 2021, Bethany has been a place where MACU Ministry students could train for Pastoral Care and continues to serve as a model of faith-driven innovation and community care.
Faith, Hope, and Charity

Heart of an Evangel Award Recipients
Arlinda McCoy, Kimberly Thomas, and Kathy Williamson—known as the trio Faith, Hope, and Charity—ministered powerfully through music during their time at Gulf Coast Bible College. Their authentic witness and joyful presence continue to inspire all who remember their impact.
Drs. Ron & Shirley Roddy

Educator Award Recipients
Ron and Shirley Roddy have spent decades shaping MACU through visionary leadership and personal investment in students. From pioneering adult education to mentoring future leaders, their legacy reflects a deep commitment to Christ-centered learning.
Stefani Heller

Young Alumni Award Recipient
A two-time MACU graduate, Stefani Heller is a passionate leader whose career spans public service, the arts, and creative entrepreneurship. Through civic engagement and advocacy, she exemplifies what it means to live out MACU’s mission of doing greater for the good of others.
Matthew Helton

Evangel Award Recipient
Ministry Leadership Senior, Matthew Helton, has served MACU with Christ-like humility and enthusiasm across chapel, student leadership, and the Communications team. He also ministers at Shartel Church of God, embodying MACU’s mission both on campus and in the community.
