Pathways of Hope Counseling Conference

Please join us at the inaugural summer counseling conference at MACU. We are excited to host sessions for counselors, counseling students, and those who are interested in working in the counseling profession.

Cost to attend the day-long conference is $50 or $35 for Students. 

Registration is now open for the conference. The registration deadline is Friday, July 11, 2025.

Dr. Robye Kay Jackson will be our special presenter, and she will talk about hope theory. Following her presentation, we will have 4 different breakout session times in the late morning and early afternoon. Each time slot will hold at least 5 breakout sessions. Each session will be 45 minutes long. Here is the schedule for the event:

8-8:30 a.m. – Registration 
8:30-9:45 a.m. – Opening
10-10:45 a.m. – Breakout Sessions 1
11-11:45 a.m. – Breakout Sessions 2
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Career and Resource Fair in the Student Center
12-1:30 p.m. – Lunch Provided
1:30-2:15 p.m. – Breakout Sessions 3
2:30-3:15 p.m. – Breakout Sessions 4
3:30-4 p.m. – Closing

We will provide three specific tracks for attendees:

  • Licensed Counselors and Counselor Candidates Track
  • Counseling Graduate Students Track
  • Undergraduate Students and Others Interested in the Counseling Profession Track
