Mid-America Christian University’s Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies is designed to meet the needs of paraprofessionals, teaching assistants, adjuncts, and others seeking alternative pathways to teacher certification. Offered both online and on-campus in flexible traditional 16-week or accelerated formats, this program allows students to balance their education with personal and professional commitments. The curriculum focuses on the direct application of coursework to public school settings, equipping students with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to thrive in educational environments.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be eligible for alternative or emergency teacher certification. However, this program does not include the field experience required for traditional teacher certification or to meet institutional state accreditation requirements.
