MACU Holds Free Webinar Series for Hispanic Community

Mid-America Christian University is continuing its efforts to support the Hispanic community during the COVID-19 pandemic with the next session of the free Navegar Sin Naufragar leadership series at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25.

Dr. Jesus Sampedro, director of the Latin America chapter of the Christian Business Men’s Connection and professor and director of MACU’s Master of Leadership program, will be speaking on how businesses and individuals can overcome crises from a biblical perspective.

The session is the seventh in the 10-part series, which already has plans to expand based on its resounding success. Thousands of participants from more than ten countries have joined the online sessions since they began earlier this month.

To register for the free webinar, please visit www.macu.edu/tsis/seminars. A complete list of upcoming speakers, topics and previous sessions can also be viewed on the website.

The Navegar Sin Naufragar series is being presented for free as a part of MACU’s ONE Community initiative, which was established in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. ONE Community has also provided no-cost webinars, tutoring opportunities for Oklahoma children and treat packages in conjunction with Belle Kitchen in Oklahoma City.
