Mid-America Christian University is looking to help Oklahoma teachers during the COVID-19 crisis through its ONE Community initiative by offering free reading services to elementary schoolers who are adapting to an at-home learning environment.
Students in MACU’s School of Teacher Education, as well as those in other areas of study, can read to classes via Zoom or recording reading sessions for teachers to use later. MACU is offering the service in hopes of easing teachers’ burdens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
